Please print and complete these forms and bring them with you to the first session of the Fall 1 hikes that you attend.

"The White Bag" Premieres Tonight!

Dick Jordan's half-hour MarinTV show, The White Bag: A Film Noir Spy Spoof, premieres tonight at 7:00 pm on Comcast Channel 26 (Central/Southern Marin).

The show will run for a second and final time on Sunday, September 6th at 7:00 p.m.

Mountain Home to Bootjack (9/1) Hike Preview

We kick off the 2015 Fall 1 hiking series with a trek up and down trails on Mount Tamalpais.

Per Wendy, "this hike takes us through redwood forest, over Fern Creek, into chaparral, and finally to lunch at Bootjack. The return is fairly level and shady."  (Click here for a recap of our October 2008 hike and click here for the photo album for this hike.)

Directions to trailhead: Take the Stinson Beach/Highway 1 exit off Highway 101. Go west through Tam Valley and up onto the ridge. Turn right onto Panoramic Highway and follow signs to Mt. Tamalpais. Drive about 4 miles.

When you reach Mountain Home Inn on your right, park in the parking lot across the road on your left.

50 minutes from College of Marin.

Carpoolers can meet at the Greenbrae Park & Ride lot at 9:00 am.

He's Back!

Yes, Dick Jordan, the "Ace of Spies," is back with yet another TV show!

The White Bag: A Film Noir Spy Spoof will air on MarinTV (Comcast channel 26) at 7:00 pm on Sunday 9/6/2015 and Wednesday 8/26/2015.

Designed to fill a half-hour time slot, the 26-minute-plus movie includes a reprise of "The White Bag" trailer and "feature-length" film that Dick produced earlier this year for the station, plus clips from two of Dick's favorite film noir and spy films, on-camera and voice-over narration by Dick, and a "Making Of The White Bag" segment.

If you just can't stand to wait to see it air on MarinTV, don't own a TV set, or aren't a Comcast cable subscriber living in Central/Southern Marin, you can watch The White Bag: A Film Noir Spy Spoof on YouTube even though it's not yet available for viewing by the general public.

And you can get Dick's autograph or pose for a "selfie" with him next Tuesday when he expects to be Meandering in Marin with you.
