Press coverage may be causing more aggressive inquiry into Silvia's disappearance. On Tuesday evening Silvia's nephew told Wendy that several National Park Service rangers at the district level have been brought into the investigation and that a "tip" line (number not available yet) has been set up.
The latest Marin I-J story was posted on the newspaper's Web site shortly after 7 p.m. on Tuesday. However, Bay Area TV stations did not provide updated coverage for the story on their Web sites and presumably will not do so on their late evening live news broadcasts.
