In the preview for the Steep Ravine hike he wrote a few days ago, Dick said that the weather forecast was " Rain likely, cloudy, with a low around 44." (That would have been the Tuesday evening rather than the daytime forecast).Here's the current forecast for Tuesday as of 7 a.m. Sunday: A 50 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 56. South southwest wind between 8 and 13 mph. (Click here for an updated forecast). So quit complaining about the rain --- it's good for garden and shouldn't be so heavy as to "wash out" our hike. (Click on cartoon image at the left to enlarge it for viewing).
