Doug McConnell, host of KRON-TV's "Bay Area Backroads" (sadly, no longer on the air), is back on TV (KQED, Mondays at 7:30 pm) with "Open Road", his new show about travel in the Western U.S. And Dick (aka "Open Road Maniac") is back on Doug's Website, OpenRoad.TV, with a new story about his trip to Southeast Alaska last summer: "Flying Into The Mists of SE Alaska". (Click here to view the story and pictures on the Open Road Web site). Earlier this year Dick's piece "Breaking the Ice in Little Norway" was added to OpenRoad.TV. Dick Hits "The Open Road" Again
